Bella is a yearling PMU Belgian filly from Canada. Miss Personality Plus lifts her feet for cleaning, loads right into the trailer, and is up to date on all her vaccinations and worming. 7/11
Update: 9/19/11. Bella is a joy to be around. She follows us everywhere and is quite and completely trusting. She is pictured here with Kenna, below.

Kenna, a two-year-old PMU Belgian/Clydesdale cross, is ready to go to a new home. She leads, lunges, loads in a trailer, holds all her feet up for cleaning and is up to date on all vaccinations and worming. She's a beautiful girl with no major faults and can be trained to ride or drive. 6.11

Hope is a 7- or 8-year-old Paint mare that we rescued from a Nevada feedlot in September 2009. She had been a broodmare at a breeding farm that closed down. Hope is friendly and gentle with other horses and people and is up to date on all vaccinations, deworming and hoof trims.
We had shoes put on Hope's front feet and have begun working with her. She has had previous training experience. She lunges well and we believe has been started under saddle. She has a nice gait and we think she would be a good horse for a smaller person with riding experience, and she seems to prefer women over men. 7/11
Faith is a 9-year-old Paint mare from a closed Nevada breeding farm, rescued from a Nevada slaughter feedlot in September 2009 along with Hope, above. She had been badly abused and has poorly healed rope scars on her rear leg. Faith is a passive horse and would make a great companion or pasture pal for another horse.
Pia is a 3-year-old jenny who was gathered out of the Arizona desert near Parker by the BLM in July of 2009. Pregnant at the time, she came to us in September 2009. She had her baby last November and is now ready for a new home. Pia is up to date on all vaccinations and deworming and has had her hooves trimmed. She comes right up to us asking for carrots and apples. 3.10
Peppi is Pia's daughter. Born November 2009 at the New Hope facility, she doesn't have the cautiousness inherent in an animal who has come from the wild. She loves people and comes up to greet visitors at the gate. She is a delight. Peppi and Pia need to be adopted together. They are herd animals, like horses, and are best off with another burro for companionship.
Princess has been returned to the rescue by her owner, a decision she regretfully had to make as she could no longer keep Princess. Princess is available for adoption.
Princess was rescued from a Colorado feed lot as a yearling in April 2008. She had a condition close to pneumonia, for which she was successfully treated. She has also been receiving therapy for scarred front pasterns, which may have been caused by entanglement in barbed wire at some point early in her life. She was evaluated by our veterinarian who said that because of her young age her pasterns should improve as she grows and she should be rideable when she is old enough.
Princess runs like the wind. Her injured pasterns don't seem to give her any trouble when she's racing around with the other horses, or during training.
She has had extensive ground training, leads well, loads in the trailer, cross-ties and is well mannered. She is up to date on all vaccinations, deworming and hoof trims. The vet checked her pasterns in June 2009 and said she's rideable.

Princess, age 2
Cimarron is a 4-year-old (2006) PMU quarter horse/thoroughbred/belgian gelding. He leads, ties, loads in the trailer, stands for the farrier and crosses water. He's been worked under saddle and has carried a bit a couple of times, which he seems very comfortable with. Close to 16hh, Cimarron loves to jump. He's jumped over a large water tub and our 4-wheeler. He has a long stride and would be good for someone who wants to jump.
Cimarron was previously adopted and returned because his owner has cancer and could no longer take care of him. He is up to date on all vaccinations, deworming and hoof trims.
